Casio Introduces G-Shock X DGK Watch

G-Shock has teamed up skate brand DGK to create a timepiece to fill the void for rugged watches with skateboarders in mind. Founded by professional street skateboarder Stevie Williams, DGK is best known for its irreverent style and groundbreaking designs. The GX56DGK-1 fuses that eclectic approach with the most shock resistant watch in G-Shock history.

The G-Shock X DGK watch commands attention with its royal purple and black colorway. Complete with a reverse purple LCD, the GX56DGK-1 features a new triple density, triple layer structure for peak performing shock resistance. Two layers of hard urethane protect against external shock, while a inner third layer of soft urethane that expands and contracts as pressure is applied to absorb impact on the inside.

To minimize the chance of detachment when the watch is dropped, lug screws securely fasten the band to case and the buckle to band for added protection.
