Casio America, Inc. announces the expansion of the G-Shock G-RESCUE series (G7900) with the GW7900B. Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the GW7900B remains steeped in the tradition of G-Shock water and shock resistance while taking the G-Shock technology one step further.
The GW7900B, a sleek black on black color way with a reverse LCD, now features Non-Stop, Tough Solar Power and Self Adjusting Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping for superior accuracy and reliability.

Non-Stop, Tough Solar Power - A tiny, solar panel combined with a large-capacity rechargeable battery enables a variety of energy-hungry functions to operate smoothly. The result is an impressive solar timepiece that assures reliable timekeeping and greatly reduces the need for battery change.
Self-Adjusting Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping - Compatible with all six transmission stations worldwide, Multi-Band 6 is a radio-control system built to receive time calibration signals from up to six transmission stations: two in Japan and one each in North America, the United Kingdom and Germany, plus the new station in China.
The expansion of the newly created G-RESCUE series to feature Tough Solar and Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping is a testament to G-Shock commitment to providing technology driven watches to a broader audience.
The new GW7900B digital watch possesses a stylish, large case with superior four-point protection, made by 4 large screws on the bezel to form a nearly impenetrable line of defense. The largest buttons in G-Shock history improve button operability, even while wearing gloves. For a high performance fit and superior shock resistance, the G-RESCUE features back case shock absorbers to stabilize the watch and protect the case from impact.
“The expansion of the newly created G-RESCUE series to feature Tough Solar and Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping is a testament to G-Shock commitment to providing technology driven watches to a broader audience,” said Shigenori Itoh, Vice President of Casio’s Timepiece Division. “We are thrilled to deliver technologically advanced, tough timepieces to the fashion conscious, yet active man”.
Deriving its inspiration from search and rescue teams worldwide, the G-RESCUE features include moon and tide graph, shock resistance, 200M water resistance, auto EL backlight, world time, four daily alarms, 1/100 second chronograph and 12/24 formats.
The G-RESCUE GW7900B is available for $150.
