G-Shock To Announce G-Shock GW3000 Timepiece
Casio America Inc. introduces advanced timepiece technology with superior performance in the new G-Shock G-Aviation (GW3000). An inevitable evolution to G-Aviation collection, the GW3000 provides a bigger case, at 52mm with high contrast markings, making it a statement piece for any male wardrobe.
Taking design cues from aircraft flight panel indicators, the new G-Aviation features a triple layered dial and frame display structure that gives the watch face a three-dimensional feel while increasing overall visibility. Brilliantly fabricated, the forged polyhedral metal bezel creates a uniquely handsome protective finish.

Casio G-Shock GW3000
“We are pleased to expand the G-Aviation line with the large case GW3000,” said Shigenori Itoh, Vice President of Casio’s Timepiece Division. “The GW3000 continues the G-Shock tradition of toughness and technology while embracing an authentic aviation style and function all its own.”
With the needs of pilots in mind, the new G-Aviation is fully equipped with centrifugal force resistant functions. It will maintain its measurement capability even under the heaviest centrifugal conditions like those experienced while air racing at 370km/hour with 12G gravity. By advancing hand designs for superior weight balance, the watch can still rotate at its maximum speed even when flying.
Impeccably designed with toughness and technology, the G-Aviation also features Self-Charging, Tough Solar Power & Self–Adjusting, Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping technology, Tough Movement and the quadruple hybrid case structure for the ultimate in accuracy, strength and performance.

Self-Charging, Tough Solar Power
A tiny, solar panel combined with a large-capacity rechargeable battery enables a variety of energy-hungry functions to operate smoothly. The result is an impressive solar timepiece that assures reliable timekeeping and greatly reduces the need for battery change.
Self-Adjusting Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping
Compatible with all six transmission stations worldwide, Multi-Band 6 is the world’s first radio-control system built to receive time calibration signals from up to six transmission stations: two in Japan and one each in North America, the United Kingdom and Germany, plus the new station in China. Through a miniaturized, shock-resistant, highly sensitive amorphous antenna and large-capacity, power-saving LSI, stable operation of watch functions including 6-station radio wave reception are achieved. With Casio’s Atomic Timekeeping Technology, you will always have ultimate precision.
Tough Movement
Auto-Hand location technology automatically checks and adjusts hand positioning at fifty-five minutes after every hour. By employing a LED to detect hand-gear positioning versus internal time counter, the watch can detect any inconsistency and correct itself even if the hands are displaced by magnetic force or shock.
Additional G-Aviation features include large side buttons for increased operability, shock resistance, 200M water resistance, Neo-Brite Luminous Hands and Markers, 29 City World Time + UTC, 1/100 Second Chronograph, and Daily Alarm for unmatched functionality.
Available with a resin band (GW3000B-1A) for $260 or stainless steel band (GW3000BD-1A) for $350, the G-Aviation is available online or at fine retailers nationwide.
