G-Shock Releases New Watches For Surfers
This summer, Casio America Inc., proudly releases new silhouettes of the G-LIDE series, the GLX150 and the GWX8900B. One of the best selling G-Shock shapes in the U.S. market is reborn through the G-LIDE GLX150, featuring a new case for extra G-Shock toughness, while the GWX8900B, has a larger case and offers Tide Graph functions, Atomic Timekeeping, and tough solar power for long days in the sun.
Similar to its predecessors the GLX150 possesses tide/moon graph capabilities, embracing the surf and water enthusiast lifestyle. Available in matte black or white, the GLX150 also includes 200M water resistance, auto super illuminator LED with flash alert, world time (29TZ/48 cities), two multi-function alarms and one snooze, 1/100th second stopwatch with auto-start, countdown timer 12/24 hr formats, mute function and an easy to read tide/moon data graph with contrasting LCD for the ultimate in tracking high and low tides.

Casio GWX8900B-7
The GWX8900B is available in a black and white duo tone style and features a tide/moon graph display. With the surf community in mind, the G-Shock GWX8900B features the tidal movements for the top 100 surf locations all over the world. The wearer can also set up to 49 additional locations. The GWX8900B also features shock and 200M water resistance, tough solar power, moon graph, full auto super illuminator LED, world time (31TZ/48 cities + UTC), four daily alarms and one snooze, 1/100th second stopwatch, two countdown timers, 12/24hr formats and mute function.

The GLX150-7 (black), GLX150-1 (white) retail for $99 while the GWX8900B-7 retails for $150 and will be available at Macy’s, select fashion boutiques, surf shops and www.gshock.com.
