New Casio EDIFICE ERA200DB-1AV Provides Perfect Blend of Style and Cutting-Edge Technology

Bounded by a striking stainless steel band, the ERA200DB-1AV’s watch face boasts red and white accents with a black ion plated bezel. With just a tilt of the user’s wrist, the ERA200DB-1AV provides powerful illumination from its white auto LED light enabling greater visibility within dark environments. Outfitted with smaller motors and sensor, the ERA200DB-1A cuts the compasses power consumption by up to 90 percent.
Equipped with Casio’s Twin Sensor Technology, the ERA200DB-1A offers both a digital compass and thermometer. The digital compass has a graphic display and needle indicator that guides users directionally. By pressing the compass button, the watch will take directional readings each second for 20 seconds, as well as store bearing readings for later use. Also equipped with a thermo sensor, the ERA200DB-1AV provides users with temperature readings making it easy to plan daily activities.

With a tachymeter on the inner bezel and 1/100th second chronograph, users can compute speed based on travel time and distance. Additionally, this new timepiece features a variety of other functions including water resistance up to 100 meters, four daily alarms and world time for 48 cities + UTC.
Casio’s ERA200DB-1AV will be available at select retailers’ nationwide beginning in June 2013 for an MSRP of $350.
