New DS Podium Chronograph From Certina
The new DS Podium Chronograph brings an earlier design up to date, in a flexible timepiece that sits beautifully next to any style of dress. Thoughtful attention to detail is visible throughout, in the interplay of different finishes, and an airier, more open dial. A fresh look with a touch of luxury sure to please all watch lovers.
The updated DS Podium Chronograph brings together tasteful contrasts of brushed and polished stainless steel, over its horns, bezel and case, as well as on its pushbuttons and crown protection. An open, uncluttered black dial boasts shiny and bevelled edges on its three counters, with two handsome snailed chrono counters, all safely guarded behind a sapphire crystal. HM hands, indices and Arabic numerals are nickelled and treated with Superluminova, while chronograph timing is indicated through red-coloured hands. Thanks to the DS Concept, the watch is water resistant up to a pressure of 10 bar (100 m).
A second version is available with silver sunray-finished dial, snailed counters, Arabic numerals and indices – in rose gold PVD.
The updated DS Podium Chrono comes with a brown leather strap, closed by a twin-pushbutton folding buckle. Other models are also available, with a stainless-steel bracelet or leather strap, as well as three-hand, 38 mm or titanium versions.
