Raymond Weil Announces New Parsifal

Raymond Weil Parsifal

20 years after its official launch, the iconic Raymond Weil Parsifal collection is reinventing itself, with precision, rounded outlines and aesthetic refinement lending the collection a distinctly contemporary feel.

The Raymond Weil Parsifal collection takes its name from Wagner's final opera: a mystical world of chivalry and spiritual quest.

Parsifal once again shows Raymond Weil watches' deep attachment to its roots, and desire to preserve tradition as a source of inspiration – while, at the same time, refining the key design elements (the 'godron décor' to the bezel, curved outlines, and sophisticated bracelet) which have forged the powerful identity of this symbolic collection…

Bretiling Launches Totally Revamped Superocean Watch

Breitling Superocean

In the 1950s, at a time when it had already established itself as “official supplier to world aviation”, Breitling took on another challenge by setting out to conquer maritime depths. 1957 thus saw the launch of the famous Superocean, equipped with an ultra-readable dial, an armored glass and a monohull case watertight to a depth of 200 meters (660 ft) – a remarkable feat at that time. Originally designed to equip professional and military divers, and particularly special troops, this model soon gained a following among enthusiasts in the booming field of leisure diving. It subsequently gave rise to a whole line of diver‘s watches and chronographs, which have distinguished themselves over successive generations by their extreme sturdiness as well as their peerless performances – including water resistance to depths of 500, 1,500 and even 2,000 meters. Breitling is now giving fresh impetus to this legendary collection by launching a Superocean with an entirely revamped design…

Hamilton Time Player

Hamilton Time Player

Hamilton took inspiration for the Time Player from a design the company originally created for a clock in the Stanley Kubrick movie, 2001 : Space Odyssey and brought it back to earth. For centuries, man believed that the earth’s surface was flat. Hamilton playfully revisits this idea with the Time Player watch, in a design that is resolutely contemporary and inspired by a society constantly on the move, taking change in its stride.

A totally flat 48 mm by 42 mm titanium case is split into nine squares, eight filled with movable counters and one left empty like a sliding puzzle…
