Casio Expands Pro Trek Series With PRW3000-1 Timepiece
Known for its rugged, stylish and versatile timepieces, Casio continues to raise industry standards with the introduction of the PRW3000-1 to its PRO TREK series. Built with Casio’s next-generation Triple Sensor Version 3 Technology and Tough Solar Power, the PRW3000-1 is the ultimate accessory for adventure seekers and outdoor enthusiasts alike.
“The latest addition to our PRO TREK series is exciting, as the new timepiece features cutting-edge technology, a smaller case, sleeker design, and improved functionality,” said Shigenori Itoh, Chairman and CEO of Casio “The PRW3000-1 represents our continued dedication to providing quality timepieces built to endure life’s most exciting adventures.”

Casio PRW3000-1
The first of its kind, the PRW3000-1 is outfitted with the Casio’s next-generation Triple Sensor Version 3 Technology, which features a downsized direction sensor and pressure sensor for altimeter/barometer readings and thermometer. The benefit of this downsizing of the sensors means it takes up only 5% of the space of the previous sensor and consumes only 10% of the energy, improving the frequency and resolution of altitude readings from 5m to 1m increments and from 5 seconds to 1 second respectively. This coupled with an increase in continuous compass measurements from 20 seconds to 60 seconds increases the accuracy and speed with which these features monitor nature’s elements and how they are utilized for high energy activities across the board.
Another new feature in the PRW3000-1 is an atmospheric pressure trend alarm that gives a notification in response to sudden swings in atmospheric pressures, to keep users constantly informed of pressure swings that might otherwise be overlooked.

Equipped with Casio’s Multi-Band 6 Atomic Timekeeping technology, the PRW3000-1 alleviates concerns about changing the time for daylight savings time or leap years. This timepiece automatically synchronizes with atomic clocks in the US, Germany, the UK, China and two in Japan based on the user’s home city setting.
The PRW3000-1 also operates with Casio’s Tough Solar Power Technology. Its battery life is approximately six (6) months without further exposure to light and the watch has a Power Save feature that allows the timepiece to power down when not exposed to light for a certain period of time, thus conserving energy. This eco-friendly solar battery powered timepiece can be charged even in low or fluorescent light, eliminating the need for continuous battery changes.
Designed with the most innovative technological functions, the PRW3000-1 possesses the following comprehensive feature set:
- Tough Solar Power
