Rado r5.5 Wins Red Dot Product Design 2010 Award
The red dot design award has been the quality seal for outstanding design for more than 50 years. In the category product design 2010, the jury chose Rado's r5.5 chronograph for its intriguing and high quality design.
Rado's expertise in innovative materials such as high-tech ceramics, combined with timeless and pure design has afforded the creation of the audacious and bold collection r5.5. The r5.5 chronograph is a watch reduced to the essential, with a distinctive square silhouette with curved edges, of which the radius gave the collection its name.

The r5.5 collection was designed by industrial designer Jasper Morrison. Its launch marked the third step of the highly fruitful collaboration between Rado and the British designer. His vision of giving minimalist design a unique character corresponds with Rado's aesthetic approach to pure, innovative and iconic watches.
