In 2009, SEIKO unveiled at Baselworld the Ananta collection, an exclusive range of luxury timepieces with Spring Drive and high-grade mechanical movements. Seiko first met Darya Klishina when she won gold at the IAAF World Youth Championships in 2007, an event that Seiko supported. She was just 16 years old and it was already clear that she had a bright future ahead of her as a long jumper. Since that early success, she has risen through the senior ranks of her sport and is, today, ranked second in the world. During the last four years of her career, her personal best jumps have consistently improved and she is now among the favorites at every competition she enters. Born in Tver, north of Moscow, she played volleyball and trained as a sprinter before focusing only on the long jump event…

The latest creation of the Hamilton Lab, the ODC X-02 Quartz, takes watch design to totally new frontiers. In a futuristic shaped case, appropriately modelled on the cross-section of an aircraft’s wing, this timepiece allows the wearer to be in three places at once. This is possible thanks to three separate, oblong dials, each revealing the time in a different location. The ODC X-02 Quartz already has its eye on Hollywood movie appearances with its design being inspired by the watch Hamilton originally made for Stanley Kubrick’s 1966 movie, “2001: A Space Odyssey”.
